Lance Armstrong Flat Out Lied To All Of Us

“One Man’s Opinion” by Gordon Curvey

Lance Armstrong said he NEVER used peformance-enhancing drugs to win the Tour de France. He said it MANY MANY times in radio interviews and elsewhere. But he lied to us readers! He made the confession that he did use performance-enhancing drugs.

He did it in a exclusive interview with former guest on “Music Inner City TV” the great media icon Oprah that aired on her OWN network. That show will get big ratings. Then again a lot of homes do not get the OWN network. Glad to say I have it.

Armstrong is a clown and should be locked up as far as I am concerned. ONS of dollars have been paid to this fool. This cheater!! He should be made to pay ALL OF IT BACK!!!!

This clown started a foundation called LIVESTRONG in 1997.  MILLIONS of dollars have been given to his foundation. This is a freakin outrage!! He recently met with about 100 staff members and told him he is sorry. He choked up in a 20 min talk. Saying he is sorry for the controversy tied to him etc.

I am happy to say their are lawsuits against Armstrong. One lawsuit against him thrown down by Dallas based SCA Promotions which because he was paid $500,000. They want their money back. Also Armstrong was paid $7.5 million in bonus money for winning the Tour de France. They also want their money back!!

Plus former teammate Floyd Landis who lost his 2006 Tour de France title for doping, has filed a federal whistle blower lawsuit that accused Armstrong of defrauding the U.S. Postal Service. All kind of negativity is going to fall down on the low life Lance Armstrong. And it should. The worst should happen to Lance Armstrong readers. He told all of us he did not cheat.

But HE DID!!! I wonder who else is cheating in the sports world? Baseball players, basketball players, football players, tennis players, PGA players, hockey players. Who in the hell is cheating. I want to know!!!

Is The NBA Returning Here In Seattle Next Season?

ARTICLE FROM seattlepi.com (Full story click here)

I woke up this morning here in my hometown of Seattle, got my cup of coffee and went to the Internet to ready to read about our Seattle Seahawks in the NFL playoffs against the Atlanta Falcons this Sunday and BAM all hell broke out!

Big time stories came out online and on sports radio about the possible return of the NBA to the city of Seattle as soon as next fall at Key Arena. The team coming here would be the Sacramento Kings. A big smile came over my face because my favorite sport might be coming back to town! Yes their are rumors of possible new buyers for the Kings. But as the legendary Rev. Jesse Jackson has said for decades….I am keeping hope alive!

As you may know, billionaire Chris Hansen is working with Microsoft’s Steve Ballmer to bring the Sonics back to a city it left in 2008 after FOUTY ONE YEARS. Our Sonics became the Oklahoma Thunder. With budding superstar in Kevin Durant. Hansen has bought millions of dollars work of land to build a brand new arena where the Sonics will play in a few years.

Until then the Sonics would play in the Key Arena. Of course the city of Sacramento will not go down without a fight. The mayor of Sac-Town is a 13 year NBA vet Kevin Johnson. KJ was a great point guard when he played. He said today he will do what ever he can to try to keep his hometown team in the city. And being a ex NBA baller you know he will do just that. That is for sure readers.

But the owner of the Kings, the Maloof brother’s need the cash. The lost a business in Vegas and owe the city of Sacramento money. The selling price of the Kings is said to be around $500 million. So I guess the brother’s can use the cash. Yes, they would not own the Kings but on the other hand they a half a billion.

So we here in Seattle are on pens and needles. Waiting to see if the deal will go down so we can see Lebron, Kobe, Melo, Dirk, Durant, and other NBA stars as well as the many Seattle area natives who are playing in the NBA like Jamal Crawford, Jason Terry, Nate Robinson, Ishiah Thomas, Rodney Stukey, Spencer Hawes, Montell Webster, Aaaron Brooks and others. We will keep you informed right here on SIC.    Gordon Curvey

Ray Lewis: The Hall Of Fame Is Waiting For Ya!

ARTICLE FROM yahoosports.com (Full story click here)

Ray Lewis and his Ravens play Tom Brady and the Patriots to see who is going to the Super Bowl.

As a sports fan today is a sad day because my favorite NFL player is going to retire. His name is Ray Lewis. To me the greatest linebacker of all time in the NFL.

Of course players cannot play for ever. We all know that. But I wish Lewis could play for ever. This cat gives 200% on the field and the leader of the Baltimore Ravens. When you think of the Ravens you think Ray Lewis. It has been this way all his career. Might of fact when you think Baltimore period you think Ray Lewis.

It will be very interesting to see what Lewis will do when he finally retires. He wants to see his son play Ray Lewis III who will be a freshman at the University of Miami for sure. Will he join “Primetime” and “The Playmaker” and the crew on the NFL Network? Or will he join the ESPN football crew? What will Lewis do? Hell he can be a minister too! Because Lewis knows how to preach for sure!

So I want to thank Ray Lewis for all the thrills he gave me as a NFL fan. Football will not be the same without Lewis. He just brought something to the table no other NFL player has brought.

Yes Lewis had a VERY serious problem with the law in 1999. We know this a fact. The fact of the matter is people make mistakes. Even serious mistakes. But since he made that mistake in 99, Ray Lewis has became great on the field and off the field. Doing commericials and speaking to kids in school about getting a good education and much much more.

Ray Lewis has become a first class role model for young inner city kids. He will do great things when he retires in my opinion. This is why I say the Hall of Fame is waiting for Ray Lewis in five years.
