“One Man’s Opinion” by Gordon Curvey
Is Floyd “Money” Mayweather afraid to fight Manny Pacquiao in maybe the biggest money making fight in boxing history? Many think he is.
As you sports fans already know Mayweather recently beat “Vicious” Victor Ortiz in a so called fight that ended in the fourth round when Floyd ended the fight with two quick punches after Ortiz tried to head butt Mayweather. It was a dirty gutless move by Ortiz.
Ref Joe Cortez in my opinion did the wrong thing when he did not order the two boxers to their corners after he tried to separate Ortiz and Mayweather.
For some reason Victor tried to hug and even KISS Floyd! Say what????? Yes he tried to hug and kiss a very angry Mayweather after Ortiz tried to head butt him.
Some say Mayweather was wrong to “sucker” punch Victor. In my opinion that is BS!! The blame is on Ortiz who tried to go ghetto on Floyd with a dirty head butt!
But truth be told, this was not even a fight. Ortiz was getting his ass beat! Why did this fight even happen anyway? Mayweather will bank about $40 mil for this so called fight. The fight boxing want to see is Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao!
The Pacquiao vs. Mayweather fight will most likely be the biggest money making fight in boxing history and is the fight everyone wants to see. That is for sure.
Floyd wants Manny to take a blood test before he signs to fight him. He feels Manny has been cheating. I hope Manny will take a blood test so we can FINALLY see this mega fight. If Floyd is worried about fighting Manny because it might ruin his undefeated record then he is WRONG! I hope we can see this fight soon!! Gordon Curvey

Danica Patrick said she is moving to NASCAR next year and will not race in Indy cars anymore but will run in the Indy 500.
Patrick is the spokesperson for GoDaddy and is seen in commercials on TV and billboards and radio commercials so she is well known.
But here is question, when is she going to win a doggone race and not come in the top ten?
When ever their is a race the announcers are always announcing what place Danica Patrick is in. Is this fair to the other race car drivers? Should she get all the pub when others are doing MUCH better?
I think Patrick needs to win a race or two before she makes any move to NASCAR. The question is when will she win a race? Gordon Curvey

I just watched the video of a brawl that happened in China between Georgetown University and a professional Chinese team and what I saw was terrible.
How and why did this happen? It seems a lot of fouls was called on Georgetown and not the Chinese team. Guess you can say home cooking.
Bottles and chairs was flying in the air. How no one was seriously hurt is beyond me. When you watch the video you will know what I mean.
Next time if their is a game in China like this, the refs need to call the game fairly which it seems this game was not. Gordon Curvey

This is the kind of story that the media does not talk about because it is positive. But we here at “Sports Inner City Online” try to bring to the table more positive stories on minority sports stars.
All sports radio want to do is blast African Americans at will. Sports radio KJR and 710 ESPN here in Seattle have ZERO African Americans in ANY position. So they can care less about positive stories about black sports stars.
Did they discuss this story on LeBron James? No. James opened a clubhouse for children in his hometown of Akron, Ohio recently. He donated almost a quarter of a million dollars to the Akron Boys And Girls Club to have the clubhouse for the kids.
James also has a Bike-A-Thon every year and money made at the event is donated to a charity. Yes James was at fault for all the stuff that happened when he moved his talents to South Beach, but James has not forgot his roots. And he is giving back to the community. I think that is great on his part. Gordon Curvey

If you are sports fan like I am it was a very happy site to turn on the big screen and see Tiger Woods back on the course.
He came back and looked good firing a 68 at the Bridgestone Invitational in Ohio and was six shots back but who cares! Tiger Woods is back and playing.
When Woods is not playing the ratings are way down. Who wants to watch golf on TV if Tiger is not playing? It would be one word…….BORING!!!! Hell I would not know who the hell is playing besides Phil and Sergio and a few others.
These young players on the PGA are just that YOUNG! No one knows who they are. Well I know I don’t.
So I don’t care if Tiger is 6 back or 15 back, I am just glad he is back and playing golf on the PGA tour!! I don’t get a damn about his love life and I don’t give a damn about his firing of his his longtime caddie Steve Williams. I am glad Tiger Woods is back on the course!! And I know CBS is happy too!!
