Does Tiger Woods Have A Problem With Ladies Of Color?

“One Man’s Opinion” by Gordon Curvey

I guess I am going to be the one to step out and write about this. I have been waiting and waiting to write about this so now is the time.  I have watched Tiger Woods with lady after lady over the years. And none of them have been African American or a lady of color.

The question is does Tiger have a problem with African American females? Or a lady of color? What is it Tiger? Let’s make this very clear. Tiger Woods is a African American just like President Obama. But it seems Tiger does not like being a African American. Again the question is why? I wonder does he check African American on papers etc. President Obama does. This is a fact.

There are beautiful ladies of color in this country. But Tiger has decided ladies of color are not for him. I have never seen Woods with a black female. Have you? When he was in trouble a few years ago and all the females he was dealing with pics came out. None of the females where ladies of color.

Of course his wife was not a lady of color. Now he has a new lady Lindsey Vonn and she is not a lady of color. So it seems Tiger has a huge problem with African American females or ladies of color. Is it because of the money he makes he is not around black females at all? What is it because yes readers Tiger is his own man and he can be with who he wants but I just want to know what is it Woods has against black females.

Is it Tiger does not like being a African American? I think that is it. Don’t get it twisted folks. The ONLY time I watch golf on TV is when Tiger is near the lead or leading. This is a fact. But after I saw the pic of his new lady I said I have to write this story. Does Tiger Woods have a problem with African American ladies or ladies of color? What do you think? Announcers/Sports Radio Need To Watch Their Words

ARTICLE FROM probasketballtalk.com (Full story click here)

You know what readers and this is a fact. Guys think they can hide behind the microphone and say anything about sports stars and think the stars are not listening. But some players do listen. I know here in Seattle Ken Griffey Jr. listened to what the jocks on sports radio KJR was saying about him .Oh yeah he was listening readers. He had rabbit ears.

And a few years ago in Philly, ex star Allen Iverson heard what a sports jock was saying about him on WIP. It went over the line. A.I. went to confront the cat. The jock was suspended for his actions. Here in Seattle, sports jock on KJR Dave Mahler called former Seattle Mariner Chone Figgins a “common criminal” over the air and Ian Furness went off on Figgins too. Nothing was done by KJR management to Mahler and Furness. I was very upset about this. KJR management protected and covered up Mahler’s comments about Figgins. This is a fact!!

Recently big DeMarcus Cousins of the Kings was upset at comments Kings play by play announcer and sports jock Grant Napear made about him. This is the second time Cousins has been upset at what sports jocks have said about him. Some people say that Cousins needs to grow up and realize that he is in the public eye and he has to take the heat.

But sometimes sports jocks will go over the line in their comments and cats will not like it and will confront who ever said these things. I guess Cousins is tired of the press in Sac-Town dogging him. In this case I am on Cousins side. Sports jocks on radio need to realize that certain players will not take sports jocks blasting them behind the microphone. Certain jocks need to realize this and watch what they say about players.

DeMarcus Cousins is 6-11 and almost 290. If I was a sports jock I would be watch what I say. You can talk about a player but watch what you say and guess what readers? Cousins might be coming here to Seattle if the Kings move here to be the Sonics next fall.  This will be real interesting.

Seattle Seahawks To Obtain Percy Harvin From The Vikings

ARTICLE FROM sports.yahoo.com (Click here for full story)

The Seattle Seahawks are making us fans here in Seattle very excited about the up and coming season. With young Russell Wilson at the controls the Hawks went deep in the NFL playoffs last season. A few games from playing in the Super Bowl.

We already have Sidney Rice and Golden Tate at the end position and now it looks like we have a young dynamic player from the Vikings, Percy Harvin. Man…….look out for the Hawks next season and beyond. because Percy is fast and a very good player. So Wilson can have a good ole time play after play picking who to pass to. It will cause many problems for teams in the NFL for sure.

Some here in Seattle say we really need a someone to rush the passer on defense. And who knows it still might happen during the off season. But you know Coach Pete Carroll is happy that we have got Harvin on the Seahawks. Some say Percy can create problems off the field with his temper etc. But I think being the cat he is, Coach Carroll can handle a potential problem with Harvin. I really think so.

So look out 49ers and the NFL. We here in Seattle want to go where the 49ers went last year. And that place is the Super Bowl!!  Gordon Curvey

KJ Holds Big Event In Sac-Town To Announce New Investors

ARTICLE FROM sacbee.com (Full story click here)

I listened to the Mayor Johnson’s address to the city of Sacramento press event on local radio and said to myself that KJ REALLY fighting hard to keep the Kings in his home town. This is a fact.

KJ sounded like a preacher on Sunday in a inner city church. He let everyone know that he is pulling all the rabbits out of his hat to help stop the Kings from moving to my home town here in Seattle. Is it too late? We will see next month when the NBA owners meet and have their vote to see if the Kings will move here to Seattle.

If the move is approved, the NBA will return here in the fall to play in their former home Key Arena until the new arena financed by Steve Ballmer and Chris Hansen is built. I am only about five minutes away from the area.

We here in Seattle know that if we had a mayor like KJ that fought like him, maybe our Sonics would not have left in 2008 to OKC. Former Mayor Nickles did not do a damn thing! Hell he only attended one Sonic game in eight freakin years!!  He did not give a damn about keeping our team in Seattle. We Sonic fans know this for sure. He most likely could not name a Sonic player!!

Mayor Johnson named a couple of new people who are on board to help keep the Kings in town and a former NBA star like himself. Mark Mastrov and Ron Burkle and former NBA star Mitch Richmond.

But we can see that Mayor Johnson who of course was a All-Star point guard in the NBA is a fighter like he was on the courts of the NBA for 13 years. He is a bulldog. A pitbull. Mike Tyson. He does not want to see his NBA leave his own town and hurt thousands and thousands of Kings fans. It will hurt big time if this happens.

So will KJ win this fight readers? We will see in April. Meanwhile I have to admit. After listening to KJ tonight, I am real nervous about the NBA returning here to Seattle. Yes the Hansen group have given the Kings owners the Maloofs a $30 million NONREFUNDABLE check as a down payment. But I am STILL nervous as are all Sonic fans. REAL NERVOUS.

Of course we will keep you up to date right here on on SIC.  Gordon Curvey

Curtis Granderson Doing A Lot For Inner City Kids

ARTICLE FROM prosgiveback.com (click here for full story)

Today I heard about New York Yankee star and former guest on Seattle’s own “Music Inner City TV”/”Sports Inner City TV” Curtis Granderson being hurt in a pre-season game is out about 10 weeks. It was his first time at bat for the pre-season. That is sad.

But off the field Granderson has done a lot for kids in the inner city with his “Grand Kids Foundation”. He started his foundation in 2007. And he is doing great things for the youth. And I just want to let our readers know about it.

His foundation gives away grants and has fundraisers and has events for kids in New York and Detriot and other cities.

When I interviewed Curtis here at Safeco Field in Seattle you could tell he is a good dude. And down to earth as well.

I asked Curtis about the lack of African Americans playing baseball right now. It is only 8% in MLB. He said it starts with MLB reaching back in the inner cities to try to get kids interested in playing baseball and it also falls back on the players to reach back.

Other African American MLB player’s are trying to give back. Like CeCe Sabathia and Torii Hunter and others. By the way both of them have also appeared on our TV show from Safeco Field.

Granderson is also a spokesperson for First Lady Michelle Obama’s “Let’s Move” anti-obesity campaign. So you can see Curtis Granderson is not on there brothas who just plays baseball and sits back after the games or during the off season. He knows kids look up to him as a big league baseball player and knows he is a role model for a lot of kids. So a big shout out to Granderson for what he is doing with his foundation.
