I am a sports fan here in Seattle and I am VERY happy for the success of Seattle Seahawks QB rookie Russell Wilson and our 9-5 team.

But I am not happy about the Hawks running up the score the last few weeks and the local media here in Seattle on sports radio etc taking up for our local team for running the score. It is wrong!

The Hawks had backup QB Matt Flynn passing in a complete blowout a few weeks ago and now Pete Carroll calls a fake punt against the Bills when we were up 47-17!!

And in the post game news conference Coach Carroll said “He was sorry for calling the fake punt and it was in the game plan for the game and he should have taken the play out” Give me a freakin break!

It was flat out wrong for the Hawks to run up the score on teams for two weeks in a row readers. Pure and simple. And also for sports radio hosts to take up for this stuff it is also wrong and if the shoe was on the other foot and the Seahawks was getting blown out 47-17 and a team did a fake punt, the jocks on radio would have went off like a rocket!! This is real talk folks!!

All I can say is, all this running up the score mess will come back to haunt our Seahawks. It could happen in the last few games or the possible playoffs or next season. You mark my words. IT WILL HAPPEN!  Gordon Curvey
