Man as a NBA fan today was a good day for breaking news. The fans in Los Angeles I am sure had a up and down day with big Albert coming to town. I will be writing my feelings on that trade very soon.
The fans in L.A. got very excited with the trade that would brought “CP3” Chris Paul to the Lakers that would have teamed him with Kobe Bryant to form a powerful guard combination. BUT something happened along the way readers. David Stern and the owners said “No”
Rumor is the NBA owners told Mr. Stern that this trade cannot happen. The owners do not want a powerhouse team in L.A. I guess. What is going on folks? The owners I guess have said to Stern this is not fair for small market teams like the Bucks, Bobcats, Thunder etc.
If this is true, Stern is flat out wrong for putting a halt to this trade. The trade would have also sent Lamar Odom to the Hornets and Pau Gasol to Houston. We will have more news on the big mess and other NBA trades right here on “Sports Inner City Online” Believe me you have not heard the last of this!! Gordon Curvey
