All time home run king Barry Bonds was found guilty on one charge in his case saying he used steroids and human growth hormones. The case was held in San Fransisco.

The jury failed to reach verdicts on the other three charges against Bonds. So in reality Bonds most likely will serve zero days in jail and I know a lot of people in the media are very disappointed he will not be going to the big house.

In my opinion a lot of people in the media wanted to see Bonds suffer because of the way Bonds treated them during his career in baseball. Bonds was for sure not liked by the media and I can understand why because he did come off as very arrogant and full of himself.

But that was Bonds. He was that way in college and in the pros. He did not care to talk to the media at all so as a result the media blasted Bonds every chance they could in their articles etc.

I just heard sportscaster JT “The Brick” go on one of his nightly rants against Bonds on his radio show. It is obvious as two left shoes he hates Barry Bonds. That’s right I am using the word HATE. His hate comes out over the radio.

A caller called in to say just that. He sounded like a African American. He said the hate from JT comes out over the radio in his tone of voice. The anger against Bonds comes out. JT The Brick’s treatment of Bonds is what MANY others in the media feel. ANGER.  JT has said over and over on his show “Bonds is now a felon” He is making a BIG point of that for sure readers.

But as the caller says, let’s see if JT The Brick and the media treats the Roger Clemens steroids case that is coming up the say way. Will the anger come out against Clemens like it did against Bonds? I will be listening to find out.

So let’s see if Bonds will ever make it in the Hall Of Fame. I don’t think he will. We will let you know what happens to Bonds when he is sentenced right here on “Sports Inner City Online”   Gordon Curvey
