Kobe Bryant Fined One Hundred Grand By The NBA For A Gay Slur

ARTICLE FROM espn.com (Full story click here)

Los Angeles Laker Kobe Bryant was fined $100,000 by the NBA for a gay slur from the bench during a game between the Lakers and Spurs at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

The comment was caught on tape and I guess the NBA was made aware of it and clown David Stern put down the fine against Kobe.

I call Stern a clown because of the way he allowed our Seattle Sonics to leave town for the dust town Oklahoma City. I will never forgive Stern for allowing that to happen. Never!!!

Bryant went on radio in L.A. on 710 ESPN and explained his mistake and he made a call to a gay and lesbian organization to tell them he was sorry for making the comment and will do things to make up for his comment.

I think Kobe handled the situation as well as can be expected. Of course sports radio will beat up on him but that can be expected too. That is what they do.

Kobe made a big mistake in making the comment from the bench. He has said he is sorry so I hope the media will not drag this story on and on. But guess what….they will.    Gordon Curvey
