Well it was great while it lasted Seahawk fans. My hometown Seattle Seahawks were eliminated from the NFL playoffs when the Chicago Bears beat the Hawks 35-24 in snowy Soldier Field.

Truth be told the best team won the game. No one expected the Seattle Seahawks to be anywhere near two games from the Super Bowl. No one.

Matt Hasselbeck was 26-46 for 248 yards. Running back Marshawn Lynch only had 4 carries for 2 yards after his monster game and run last week.

Much props has to go out to head coach Pete Carroll for leading the team and telling them they can win no matter what the national media says. They beat the champs Saints when no one thought they could.

But the Bears are a very tough team. Anyway thanks to the Seattle Seahawks and we will see you next season for a even better year. Question is, will Matt Hasselbeck be back? We will see.    Gordon Curvey
