BREAKING NEWS: Big Time Trades In The NBA!

By Gordon Curvey

The Washington Wizards today traded guard Gilbert Arenas to the Orlando Magic for former Seattle Sonics player Rashard Lewis. The trade will help the Wizards get rid of a player who caused them a lot of negative publicity because of Arenas having a gun in the locker room. Now rookie guard John Wall can really handle things with the team.

Also in a another blockbuster trade. Orlando traded forward Vince Carter and Mickael Pietrus and center Marcin Gortat plus a future first round pick and cash to Phoenix for Hedo Turkoglu and guard Jason Richardson and Earl Clark.

Word is Magic center Dwight Howard is on is on board with the big trade.  He has been upset the defense being played by the team and for the first time spoke out about it this past week.

And for the Suns they had to do something also. The team was headed nowhere and had to do something real quick.

At Orlando, Richardson and Arenas will be teamed up together again. They played together at Golder State a few years ago.

So let’s see what happens in these big big moves in the NBA. Again I am in Seattle where our Sonics left after fourty one years. We cannot make any moves because we do not have a damn team!!

Exclusive interview coming up on “Sports Inner City Radio” podcasts with former NBA vet Olden Polynice. Details soon.
