Cuts and Others Moves From The NFL/Kam Thoughts

Well it looks like Robert Griffin III will be staying with Washington instead of being released or traded. Washington will keep RG3 for now as their second string QB behind starter Kirk Cousins.
But you can bet RG3 will be the starter very soon because I predict Cousins will be hurt because of a terrible O line with the team or be removed because of his poor performance. It will happen you just watch readers. RG3 will be the second string QB ahead of Colt McCoy. Coy will be the second string QB for the season opener because Griffin still is out with a concussion that made him miss the final two pre season games.
The situation concerning RG3 in Washington is like a soap opera. It really is. Do the players like RG3 or not. Is the owner of the team calling the shots regarding Robert’s future? It is crazy.
In other news former Seahawk QB Terrelle Pryor has made the Cleveland Brown’s roster. Happy for Pryor. I interviewed him when he was with the Hawks and he was a real nice dude. He has had a bad hamstring all pre season but the Browns still decided to keep him at least for now. The fella has talent but for some reason he just has not displayed his talent with the Raiders and Seahawks.
Also the champion NE Pats have released future Hall Of Famer Reggie Wayne. Wayne of course spent years with the Colts and caught hella
passes from another future Hall Of Famer Payton Manning. Word is Wayne asked for his release.
And here in Seattle, S Kam Chancellor is still a no-show. So of course the Hawks are planning to open the season without Kam. Now there are rumors that other teams have contacted the Seahawks about a possible trade. One of teams is said to be the New York Giants. But word is the Hawks are not listening to trade offers for Big Kam.
Readers this is a sad story. I have mainly been silent in my thoughts as a fan and media member but not anymore. I think Chancellor is flat out wrong for holding out. Everybody around here realizes that Kam was as happy as a clam when he signed his big contract last year. Kam has THREE YEARS left on his contract folks. It looks like the Seahawks are standing their ground and will refuse to renegotiate a new contract.
So now it is season time. What will Kam do? A lot of people think Kam will end his holdout and report before game number one. But as I type this piece it looks like Kam will continue to hold out. This is truly sad sports fans. I was in the locker room of the Seahawks after the final pre season game and something was missing…Kam Chancellor. I was used to saying “what’s up” to big Kam. But he was not there.
Finally a thought or two on the Seahawks moves. Sorry to see WR Kasen Williams (played at the University of Washington) not making the final 53 man roster. He had a good final pre season game against Oakland. Everyone was pulling for him to make the team. It was no surprise that CB Mohammed Seisey was put on the IR list. And finally it is kind of a sad story that DT Jessie Williams did not make the final roster. As you may know Williams fought back from having cancer. I hope Williams will get a chance to play in the NFL. That will be a GREAT STORY!!
