I have been holding back on my feelings on this topic but after watching “Open Court” on NBA-TV I can no longer hold back. The big fella Shaquille O’Neal is flat out jealous of Dwight Howard. Period.  Shaq needs to stop hating on Howard!!

On “Open Court” hosted by Ernie Johnson, the guests were Shaq, Charles Barkley, Kenny “The Jet” Smith, Steve Smith, new Hall Of Fame member Reggie Miller, Chris Webber and Steve Kerr. It is a great show for those of you who love the sport of baskeball like I do. I am a hoop junky. I love the game. It is my favorite sport by far. One thing I hate about getting older is I can’t play full court like I used to.

On the season opener EJ asked who is the best center in the NBA today. Everyone said Dwight Howard except Shaq. Shaq said BROOKE LOPEZ!!! let me repeat BROOKE LOPEZ. He also said Andrew Bynum. Not Howard. SAY WHAT?? What is Shaq smoking or drinking?

How on earth can Shaq say Brooke Lopez and Bynum over the most dominate big man in the gmae today? Shaq is just flat out wrong. He is just HATIN on Howard because he is with the Lakers now and at one time he called himself Superman”.

Remember the dunk contest? He had a Superman outfit on. I think that is when Shaq started to hate Howard because Shaq called himself Supermen too.

Kenny Smith said Howard may be trying to be too much like Shaq with his personality etc. Reggie Miller even said Shaq may be jealous of Howard now. WOW Reggie really said that!! Barkley, Mliller, Kenny, Kerr, C-Webb and Smith went back and forth with Shaq saying Howard is the best center in the NBA today but Shaq did not change his mind. He still said Brooke Lopez and Andrew Bynum were the best centers in the NBA. What??

Shaq has recently made other negative comments concerning Howard. The question is why? Howard said it best. Shaq’s time is over. He is retired as one the best players of all time.  It is Howard’s time. He is a L.A. Laker. It is time for Shaq to support Dwight. Maybe offer him a few workouts and help him with his inside game. It is time for Shaquille O’Neal to stop hatin on Dwight Howard. Support the fella!!!
