As we sports fans know “Superman” Dwight Howard has joined “The Black Mumba” the great Kobe Bryant and new point guard Steve Nash with the Los Angeles Lakers and myself as a writer and a NBA fan cannot wait to for the season to start.
The starting lineup for the Lakers most likely will be Nash, Bryant, Pau Gasol, Ron Artest and Howard. Man…on paper that is a power packed lineup except for the fact that Howard will be the only player in the starting lineup under twenty.
But still the Lakers will challenge the Heat and other top teams for the title this coming year. That is for sure. And Howard has reached out to the person who scored more points than any player in the history of the NBA “The Captain” Kareem Abdul Jabbar for his knowledge.
For sure Kareem can help Dwight with his post moves. Because yes Howard has scored 20 and 10 every year but he does not have a go to move like Kareem had the famous sky hook he tossed on cats for 20 years. It was a move that could not be stopped. That is fact. But also Kareem can help Howard off the court with his wisdom and knowledge on life.
So I am glad to see Dwight reaching back to stars from the past to help him with his game. Let see what happens in the 2012-2013 NBA season. A full season unlike 2011-2012. Gordon Curvey
Tight end Kellen Winslow Jr. was cut by the Seattle Seahawks and people are asking why? He is a player that has been very productive in his years in the NFL. He averaged 70 catches a season while at Tampa Bay. Read more about this story right here via sports.yahoo.com
