I am here to tell you that my hometown’s trading of future superstar Adam Jones was the worst trade in Seattle Mariner history. And I do not understand why they did it. They made the trade for basically obtaining piticher Erik Berdard. What is Berdard doing these days readers? Nothing really. He is playing for the terrible Pirates.
Jones just signed a new contract with the Baltimore Orioles. A six year-$85.5 million contract with a $2 million signing bonus. Cat is set for life big time!
Adam Jones is a many tool player. Hit for power, steals bases, hit for average, can throw out runners with a strong arm and more. The Orioles have a center fielder for years and years because Jones is only 26 years old. His baseball future is still ahead of him.
He is also a role model for young African American kids in the inner city. So they can grow up to be just like Jones and Prince Fielder and CeCe Sabithia etc. The Mariners have only Chone Figgins on their team that is a African American but Figgins has become a bench warmer with a huge contract. He just has not done a good job. Real talk.
MLB needs more African American young stars like Adam Jones. I think the Mariners made a TERRIBLE move in trading Adam Jones. Now he is getting PAID in Baltimore. Why did the Mariners trade Jones? It is beyond me readers! Beyond me. Good luck to Adam Jones. Wish he was a Seattle Mariners so we can watch him grow up as a player and a person just like ex Sonic Kevin Durent of OKC.
