Jeter Wrong For Not Showing Up For All-Star Game

“One Man’s Opinion” by Gordon Curvey

Derek Jeter is a sports hero. Someone kids can look up to as a role model and has been able to walk on water his entire career as a New York Yankee.

Lately baseball fans have noticed a decline in his play at the plate and in the field. Well after all he is 37 years old. Jeter is not used to negative talk in New York about him.

But now he is taking heat for not showing up for the baseball All-Star game in Phoenix. He blamed it on being tired mentally after getting his 3,000 hit and other reasons.

I am sorry I am not buying it from Jeter. Not at all. He was voted on the team by the fans and he should have shown up. PERIOD.

Derek Jeter is getting paid MILLIONS AND MILLIONS of dollars. He dates the hottest ladies, drives the best cars and is building a mega-house right now that is worth millions.

Jeter has PLENTY of time during the doggone off season to relax. It burns me up that he used excuses for not showing up for the All-Star game. Derek Jeter does not have a excuse. He let baseball fans down who wanted to celebrate with him the 3,000 hits. Jeter was wrong.
