What in the hell is going on when a NFL game is moved because of a snow storm? I just cannot believe it happened but it did.
As sports fans already know, the game between the Eagles and Vikings was moved from a Monday to a Tuesday because of a huge snow storm that hit the Philadelphia area.
Here is a question. What would Bart Starr of the Green Bay Packers back in the day or Deacon Jones etc think of moving a game because of the weather? These guys were warriors who played TERRIBLE weather all the time.
Starr and his Packers played in a title game when it was -2 degrees!! So now a big snow storm hits and the league moves the game. That is crazy in my opinion. I think the game was moved to protect Eagles QB Mike Vick from getting hurt and also because of the big time money ESPN has invested in the NFL broadcasts.
Pennsylvania Gov. Ed Rendell said “We’re a nation of wusses” He was upset about the NFL moving a game because of a snow storm. I agree with the Gov.
Football and the NFL is suppose to be played in hot weather, cold weather and rain and snow. I love watching a football game on TV when the snow is falling down.
I feel the only way a game should be moved or delayed is when their is lighting in the area. That’s it readers because someone could get killed.
I know many fans feel the game moving to another day was the right move. I say that was wrong. Gordon Curvey
