Kevin Durant is not here in Seattle to play basketball with the Seattle Sonics. But the Sonics left town and so did Kevin. We will not get to see him grow up to become a NBA star. It is our loss as sports fans.
Durant was just getting used to being in Seattle. His mom lived with him. He was getting out in the community etc and then BAM!!!! Mr. Sell Out Clay Bennett pulled our NBA team of 41 years out of Seattle.
It is very very hard for me to still watch a NBA game knowing the Sonics are not here. It hurts. It hurts that down the road, Portland has a NBA team. And we do not.
Now the NBA training camps will be starting up soon and Durant and O.C. will be getting ready for a NBA season. Meanwhile here in Seattle, Key Arena will be silent and empty. This is truly truly sad. Gordon Curvey
