P.S Big shout out to James Harrison of the world champs Pittsburgh Steelers for getting a big pay day from the Steelers.
Harrison was named “Defensive Player Of The Year” last season for his great performance.
Here is the thing football fans. The Steelers look strong for the next few years because they have young players on defense and offense led by Big Ben at QB.
And don’t the head coach who is in his 30’s. The Steelers do things the right way. Of course they are a legendary team with a bunch of titles.
Many other teams in the NFL are trying to get their first title, but the Steelers have plenty of World Titles in their trophy case.
Hope our Seahawks can win a Super Bowl one year. This town will go CRAZY!! G.C

PS MJ in the Hall Of Fame………..duh that’s a not brainer. Michael Jordan is the greatest player in the history of basketball some say.
To me it is a battle between MJ, Magic and Wilt. Please remember Chamberlain did some incredible things in the game of basketball that includes averages of 50 points a game and sc
oring a 100 points in a game.
And Magic Johnson was a 6-9 point guard. How many guys that are 6-9 can do what Magic did? Not many.
But Jordan was a one of a kind player. He did things that left you wondering is he human.
Air Jordan was his name and that was a perfect name for MJ because he hung in the air for slam dunks like he was suspended in air.
It does not seem Jordan has been out of the NBA for five years. But he has. Just like “The Admiral” David Robinson and the leader in assists in the history of the NBA, John Stockton who are in the Hall Of Fame in September along with the great ladies coach C. Vivian Stringer.
I had a chance to interview MJ (pic above) when the Bulls made their last appearance in Seattle to play or ex-Sonics). It was great to meet and interview MJ. The quality of the pic is not that good because it was taken from a older camcorder.
A big shout out to Stockton, Ms. Stringer, “The” Admiral” and MJ for their election in the NBA Hall Of Fame. G.C.

Micheal Vick hopefully has learned his lesson. And that lesson is no training of dogs for fighting. This he cannot do again.
Just like rapper TI will learn his lesson when he goes to jail for a year over weapons charges. Both of these fellas will hopefully be role models for young inner city youth to let them know that training dogs for fighting and having a small army of weapons is wrong.
Vick is a very talented QB who can run and throw. He is a very exciting player. One of the most exciting players in the NFL when he played.
He did things on the field and you saw it and you said to yourself “did you see him do that?”
Michael should be reinstated in September by the NFL. If he is not, that will be very unfair. Because he will have served his time and everyone should get a second chance in life.
In entertainment look at the star of “Home Improvement” and movies, Tim Allen. Who is a felon but served his time and was allowed to be a Hollywood star and make a lot of money.
As a sports fan, I will be happy to see Vick on the field again doing what he does best and that is playing QB in the NFL. He is still young enough to play for a long time.
So let’s see what’s happens to Vick in the coming months. Like I said, I hope Vick has learned his lesson and will get a chance to be one of the most exciting players in the NFL again. We will keep you posted on news concerning Micheal Vick right here on SIC. G.C.

P.S It seems Allen Iverson does not like coming off the bench for the Pistons. This is a big big problem.
The NBA playoffs is right around the corner (man the season has flew by) and this a problem for head coach Mike Currey. How is he going to handle this?
Does he continue to play Seattle area player Rodney Stuckey and “Rip” Hamilton? Will he go back to AI starting?
The Pistons are a veteren team so by playoff time, this problem may be smoothed over but I do not see it.
Iverson has started games since he first started playing sports as a little kid playing football or basketball.
A lot of you don’t know that AI was a outstanding QB in high school but he decided to go with basketball.
And he has been one of the greatest players of all time in the NBA. A fan favorite.
Yes he may have lost a step but in my mind, it is wrong to bring Iverson off the bench. He is still a very dangerous scorer.
Truth be told, this was a terrible trade. If you know how Iverson plays, he dominates the ball at times. On the Pistons, that is a no no. Why GM Joe Dumars made this trade and traded “Mr Big Shot” Chauncy Billips is beyond me.
Guess he wanted to change things up after winning the Eastern division for four years but not going to the finals. So Dumars decided to shake things up and bring in AI. It has been a terrible mix.
Having said that, again I think Curry should move AI back to the starting lineup in time for the playoffs. G.C.

PS It is a flat out TERRIBLE story that really upsets me. With Dallas police officer Robert Powell stopping Houston Texans running back Ryan Moats and his wife who wanted to go see his dying mother in law and his wife her dying mom.

How can Powell sleep at night knowing this happened. This is terrible and wrong. What was going though Powell’s mind? The guy was on a power trip. He is or was a big time Dallas officer and Moats is a little ole fella who in Powell’s mind broke the law.
If you have seen the video of this incident it should upset you too. Powell just would not let Moats and wife go. By the time he did, it was to late.
This kind of incident should never ever happen again. Can you imagine how the Moats family feels towards the Dallas police?
No matter how sorry they say they are, I would be forever upset at Powell and the Dallas police department. This incident was one of the worse things I have ever saw on TV. Our prayers go out to the Moats family from Sports Inner City Online. Gordon Curvey
