“One Man’s Opinion” by Gordon Curvey
Celtics star Kevin Garnett wants the so called problems in the Celtic locker room kept in house. This follows Rashon Rondo’s comments to the media recently about problems on the Celtics team.
Rondo said some players might have hidden agendas. Of course he did not name names but as a fan you wonder what is he talking about and who he is talking about.
Is it some of the vets like Ray Allen or Paul Pierce or even K.G.? Who is it?
Of course this kind of stuff happens on all teams during a long season of 82 games. Problems will pop up now and then. For sure win they are having problems winning games.
One thing I have a big problem with is players or head coaches blasting other teammates or players in the media instead of saying “no comment”
Former Seattle Sonics head coach and current head coach of the Nuggets George Karl has always had a problem of blasting some of his players in the media. That is wrong. Very wrong in my opinion.
That is a quick way of turning your players off.
I think all possible problems on a NBA or NFL or MLB team should be kept in house just like Kevin Garnett said. Why Rondo went before the media and said this stuff is beyond me. Is it because he is still a young player? Who knows. But it should not happen again.
And if Garnett has anything to do with it, Rondo will chill out before he says stuff in the media.
